Victorian Rolltop Bookcase circa 1840-1850

A magnificent and rare example of an exemplorary piece of early Victorian furniture with very attractive astral glazing and fully adjustable shelving. The desk has a good cylinder action which when opened pushes out a worktop. It has particularly elaborate carvings, all carved from one piece of wood rather than inserts. It also has new full hide leather on work surfaces.

This is a very usable, rare and desirable piece of furniture.

Edwardian Bedroom Suite circa 1905

This outstanding suite is very rare to find complete. The veneers, colour and patina are very important factors, as is the originality of this suite. It is most definitely one of the finest that is on offer.

Consists of

• Triple robe with centre mirror
• Dressing table, oval mirror surrounded by seven useful draws, with stretchered base
• Wash stand, two draws, cupboard with stretchered base with unique tile design
• Bed is 4 ft 6in width (1.37m)
